          Hi, it's been a long time. And yes, I am still making handmade soaps, lotion and lip balm.

Today I just want to introduce something else now that I am making. 

Yes, I make fresh homemade Raw Almond Milk, and they come in 4 flavours :

- Original Almond Milk (Sweetened or Plain)

- Chocolate Almond Milk*

- Taro Almond Milk*

- Matcha Almond Milk*

*sweetened with dates with no artificial sweetener, original almond milk without the dates can also be made available upon request.

Well, look at this sample of store bought almond milk, they tend to contain a lot of unnecessary ingredients that you don't really need. So why not support fresh local homemade products. The downside of buying fresh homemade almond milk? It's too fresh so it only lasts a few days.

Lotion Bar

What is a lotion bar ?

A lotion bar, compared to your average lotion, is a solid moisturizer. It resembles a soap bar with the function of a lotion. Made out of natural ingredients, these bars stay solid when kept at room temperature or lower. The body heat will activate the lotion bar and it can be used anywhere on the body and even in massages.

My lotion bars are made of ingredients from nature like unrefined shea butter, raw cocoa butter, mango butter, beeswax, jojoba oil, almond oil, coconut oil, and other skinloving ingredients. They are definitely free from harsh chemicals usually found in commercial cosmetics like SLS, BHT, phthalates, parabens, alcohol, petroleum or mineral oil, and of course they are cruelty-free.

How to use lotion bars:

After shower or taking a bath and drying yourself with a towel, just glide the bar on your skin or rub on the parts where you think needs moisturising. These bars will then melt as the heat of your body comes in contact as as a result of rubbing. It is recommended to apply light layers. At the beginning it may feel a bit greasy but just wait a few moments until all of that skinloving oils and butters are absorbed. Once it has successfully penetrated the skin, you will know whether you will need to apply a second layer or not. Cracked heels or other tough areas may need a second layer especially in our dry season right now in Bandung. What I personally like to do is to apply it after evening shower, then I would wake up to a softer and smoother skin in this blistering hot and dry time of the year.

Sweet Orange, Turmeric and Dragon Fruit Soap Scrub (ready)

Orange essential oil helps the production of collagen as well as increase the blood flow to the skin. It is helpful for detox and soothing dry, irritated skin as well as acne-prone skin. It also helps to inhibit microbial growth and disinfect wounds. The added turmeric is a very well known herbal remedy for added antioxidant that helps to fight free radicals that can age our skin prematurely, while the grounded dragon fruit seeds will gently exfoliate the skin.

Honest Ingredients:

Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Palm Oil, Dragon Fruit Juice and Seeds,  Lye, Turmeric, Sweet Orange Essential Oil, and Nothing Else.

Rose Geranium and Pink Grapefruit (ready 31 May 2014)

Rose Geranium or usually called Egyptian Rose, besides its romantic rose scent, aids in the treatment of poor circulation, acne, bruises, eczema, oily skin and mature skin. Other than that this particular essential oil helps with tension and other stress-related conditions as well as PMS. The Pink Grapefruit adds a slight tangy aroma to help uplift the spirit and it has astringet and toning effects.

Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Palm Oil, Distilled Water,  Lye, Rose Geranium Essential Oil, Pink Grapefruit Essential Oil, Pink French Clay, and Nothing Else.

Lemon Yogurt Soap (Sold Out)

Cucumber Yogurt Shea Soap (Ready end of May)

I love the feel of yogurt, cucumber and the luxurious shea butter on my skin. Yogurt and cucumber is very soothing and the cucumber peel acts as a gentle exfoliator. Shea butter is great for normal and problem skin for its extra moisturising properties without clogging pores and it helps to make you have less wrinkles, too. It has natural UV protection and is said to soothe burns and scars.

Honest Ingredients:
Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Palm Oil, Cucumber Puree, Yogurt, Lye, Unrefined Shea Butter, Fragrance* and Nothing Else.

*This soap is 98% natural because it uses skin safe and phtalate free fragrance oil.

Lavender and Chamomile with Pink French Clay Soap (sold out)

Lavender and Chamomile Essential Oils are best of friends that when combined, they give a soothing, calming, rejuvenating and relaxing effects. Lavender is also said help to relax tense muscles, pain relief and skin irritations like scarring and burns.

This one is actually formulated for my child, who is very active and prone to mosquito bites and cuts from playing. After a constant use of this mild soap, the mosquiito bites decrease and the essential oils help the wound from the scratching to heal.

Oatmeal and Goat Milk Soap (Ready early June 2014)

Goat Milk is loaded with essential nutrients and vitamins D, C, B1, B6, B12, and E. The cream content is a natural moisturiser which soothes dry, damaged skin and is an anti-inflammatory. Those with acne and other skin conditions will also benefit from this soap. And don't worry, it doesn't smell like a goat.....isn't that a relieve!!

Oatmeal is added for relieving skin irritation like ezcema and psoriasis with the bonus of a gentle skin exfoliator.

Sweet Carrot and Ylang Ylang Soap (Sold Out)

A carrot soap is blessed with plenty of benefits for the skin. Not only it is a high source of beta-carotene which is an antioxidant which helps to remove noxious and harmful toxins from the skin, it also enhances renewal and regeneration of the skin. The Vitamin A helps fight infections and the presence of Vitamin C aids in healing acne and trigger the production of collagen to help against wrinkles and aging. A constant use will help to even out skin tone.

Ylang Ylang Essential Oil is used widely in famous perfumes because it has a euphoric effect. It has a romantic flowery scent, but that's just the bonus. This particular essential oil has various medicinal effects, too, like as an antidepressant, antiseborrhoeic, antiseptic, and aphrodisiac for lovers.

Minty Tea Tree, Peppermint and French Green Clay Soap (Sold Out)

Tea Tree is very well known for its antiseptic and healing properties.  Highly recommended for those who are acne prone and have other skin problems. The Peppermint is cooling, invigorating and has quite a strong scent covering the medicinal tea tree smell. The added French Green Clay is another bonus to this soap as it helps to detoxify impurities from our skin.

Certainly the kind of soap I don't want to run out of!

At the moment we specialise in natural handmade soap in Bandung, the so called Paris van Java of Indonesia. Each soap is made in small batches to ensure premium quality. So yes, if you don't order soon, they will run out fast. And when they run out, we cannot always guarantee the same variety will be available soon due to the difficulty in getting some of the rare ingredients.
